Social Media (Senior) Account Director working on two global brands for a collaborative London advertising agency.

The Details

The Great & The Good are working with a London advertising agency who have built an impressive client portfolio. With big plans for a couple of their best-known accounts (a global drinks brand and a renowned FMCG), this high-profile agency is looking for a proven Account Director or Senior AD.

This role will work alongside the MD and a compassionate Business Director to develop and implement social media campaigns. The agency's full-service social media offering means the Account Director will cover everything from social strategy and creative to community management and social listening.

Trusted implicitly by both clients, the agency has been able to create impactful social media campaigns that both win awards and build consumer engagement.

You will be supported by a talented Community Management team which has got the day-to-day nailed down. They are a well-oiled machine who ensure that the agency is on top of social messaging for both planned campaign launches and reactive corporate reputation.

In addition, the AD will be able to depend on an excellent Account Manager and will take responsibility for nurturing their continued development.

Who would be best suited?

Whether you are a newly-promoted Account Director keen to show what you can do in a new creative environment or a more proven Senior AD who is looking to take on more responsibility for an account, I would love to chat.

Key experience for the role is a long-standing background in social media campaigns and some experience of social listening. You will need to have a strong creative eye and (as should be expected for an Account Director) excellent relationship-building skills.

You will probably have worked in a creative agency where you will have focused primarily on social media campaigns although our client is also keen to hear from candidates who have gained extensive experience of social media in PR agencies.
