Social Strategy Director (Part-Time)

2 days per week | Hybrid (London) | £75,000 FTE

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to join an agency that's doing things differently.

Trusted by its clients to contribute far beyond campaign delivery, this indy creative agency is brought into the bigger conversations that shape brands, not just briefs. As a result, social is becoming a genuine strategic discipline, helping define long-term brand growth rather than simply reacting to trends.

You'll be joining a genuinely collaborative team that values strategic thinking, creative bravery and lasting client relationships. If you're looking for a role where social is treated as a key brand-building discipline-not just another content channel-this is it.

Help redefine what social can do for brands.

Social has spent years chasing trends, algorithms and fleeting moments. But what if it could do more?

Working primarily with a major FMCG brand, you'll help develop social-first strategies that create lasting brand value-not just engagement. You'll collaborate closely with creatives, planners and clients to build distinctive ideas that strengthen brands over time and influence wider marketing thinking.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop insight-led, social-first brand strategies.

  • Create ideas that build long-term brand equity, not just short-term performance.

  • Partner with creative teams to shape compelling social platforms and campaigns.

  • Work directly with senior clients as a strategic advisor.

  • Contribute to broader brand strategy, ensuring social plays a meaningful role in the overall marketing ecosystem.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience developing social strategy across paid and organic channels.

  • A genuine passion for brand building, with an understanding that success goes beyond clicks, likes and views.

  • Strong strategic thinking supported by consumer insight and commercial awareness.

  • Confidence presenting ideas and influencing both clients and internal teams.

  • FMCG experience is advantageous but by no means essential.

The Details

  • Part-time: 2 days per week

  • Hybrid: 1 day per week in London

  • Salary: £75,000 FTE

  • Ref: 61830
